Relationship Reset Services

With Vanessa Cardenas, Relationship Reset Expert & Betrayal Recovery Specialist

Relationships rarely become confusing because of one conversation.

Sometimes trust has changed. Sometimes communication has become tense or careful. Sometimes you are still functioning well together but no longer understand what is happening between you.

My work helps individuals and couples look closely at those patterns before deciding what comes next.

We begin with a Foundation Session. It gives us time to understand what is happening, what has already been tried, and what would actually need to change for the relationship to operate differently.

I work with clients throughout Westchester County, the Hudson Valley, Manhattan, and virtually.

If marriage counseling has not helped, or does not feel like the right fit, you can read more about an alternative approach here.

Understanding comes before deciding.

When a relationship feels uncertain, the first task is not choosing whether to stay, leave, or rebuild. It is getting clear enough to understand what each of those choices would actually require.

How We Begin

Most people arrive wanting an answer. That makes sense when you have been living inside uncertainty for weeks, months, or even years.

The Foundation Session gives us time to slow the situation down enough to see it clearly. We look at what has happened, what keeps repeating, what has changed between you, and what may be getting lost in the conversations you are having now.

The Foundation Session is not about deciding whether you should stay, leave, or rebuild before we understand the relationship in front of us. It is a place to get specific about what is happening, what has become difficult to see clearly, and what your options actually require.

Ways to Work With Me

Each service reflects a different relationship situation. If you already know what you need, open the section that fits. If you are not sure yet, begin with a Foundation Session and we can sort through what is happening first.

The Relationship Reset Experience

For individuals or couples who want a more structured series of sessions with continuity between conversations. Relationship Reset looks at the patterns underneath what is happening, what has changed, what each person may be assuming, and what would need to be different for the relationship to operate differently.

Couples Coaching After Infidelity

Betrayal changes how people interpret conversations, reassurance, silence, and uncertainty. This work focuses first on understanding what has happened, what information is still missing, how trust is being affected now, and what rebuilding would actually require from both people.

Relationship Coaching in Westchester County

For individuals and couples seeking locally grounded support around emotional disconnection, recurring communication breakdowns, trust concerns, or uncertainty about whether the relationship can work.

Betrayal Recovery Coaching

Betrayal can affect your ability to trust what you know, what you are being told, and what you should do next. This work helps you understand your reactions, rebuild confidence in your own judgment, and make decisions from greater clarity rather than immediate fear or pressure.

Women’s Relationship Coaching

For women who have become so focused on managing the relationship, anticipating another person's reactions, or keeping everything steady that it has become difficult to hear their own thinking clearly. The work centers on understanding what has happened to self-trust and what needs attention now.

Men’s Relationship Coaching

For men trying to understand a relationship breakdown, betrayal, emotional shutdown, identity changes, or the consequences of decisions they are now seeing differently. The work focuses on greater self-understanding, responsibility, communication, and the choices that come next.

Virtual Coaching Services

Virtual sessions provide the same focused relationship work for clients who prefer privacy, flexibility, or are located outside Westchester County.

The HOPE Roadmap

The HOPE Roadmap is a structured framework used throughout my work to help people slow down, organize what is true, strengthen boundaries, and choose a grounded next step when emotions and uncertainty make clear thinking difficult.

Coaching Packages

For clients who already know they want ongoing support, coaching packages provide a defined structure for continued individual or couples work.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about Relationship Reset, betrayal recovery, and how to begin.

What is Relationship Reset?
Relationship Reset is my approach to helping individuals and couples understand the relationship they are actually living now. We look at recurring patterns, communication, trust, emotional disconnection, and the choices in front of you before deciding what rebuilding differently would require.
Is this therapy?
No. This is relationship coaching. My work focuses on communication, relationship patterns, clarity, decision-making, and practical application. It does not diagnose or treat mental health conditions and does not replace appropriate clinical care.
Do you work with individuals and couples?
Yes. Sometimes one person needs space to understand what is happening before deciding whether or how to involve their partner. Other clients come together because they want to understand the patterns between them. The format depends on the relationship and what is needed.
How do I start?
Begin with a Foundation Session. It gives us time to understand what is happening, what has already been tried, and what kind of support makes sense from there.
Do you work with couples after infidelity?
Yes. Betrayal recovery requires different conversations about truth, trust, uncertainty, responsibility, and what each person needs in order to decide whether rebuilding is possible.
Do you offer virtual sessions?
Yes. Virtual coaching is available for clients who prefer to meet remotely or who live outside Westchester County. Some clients work entirely virtually, while others combine virtual and in-person sessions.
Can you help with sexless marriages or loss of intimacy?
Yes. A sexless marriage is often about more than sex. Emotional disconnection, resentment, avoidance, unresolved conflict, trust, and the way partners communicate can all affect physical closeness. We begin by understanding what the lack of intimacy is reflecting in the relationship.
Is this confidential?
Sessions are private. If discretion or additional privacy considerations are important in your situation, those can be discussed before beginning.
